RT 11 (23622) - WHITNEY POINT, NY
A McDonald’s Crew Trainer is responsible for training crew members and acting as a brand ambassador to help ensure that QSC&V are modeled for crew members and provided to our customers.
Crew Trainers follow the 4-Step Training Method to train crew on foundation topics and production and service areas. They wear four different hats: role model, coach, teacher, and expert to plan for, monitor, and provide feedback on crew member learning and performance. Crew Trainers communicate to management on crew member, production and service issues. The Crew Trainer role is a feeder role to Shift Management.
Crew Trainers are also responsible for helping to meet targets during their shift and their departments to reach their target goals.
Completing assigned responsibilities for shifts and systems is critical to being a great Crew Trainer. But so is using the right leadership behaviors to get results. McDonald’s Crew Trainers use specific leadership behaviors to lead crew members, serve customers, and get great restaurant results. These aren’t all the things Crew Trainers need to do to lead, but are some of the behaviors that are most important at McDonald’s. By demonstrating these behaviors, Crew Trainers set the right example and improve results.
