You’re comfortable working alongside development teams at all stages of the software development life cycle along with partnering closely with marketing partners to ensure the product meets the business users’ expectations. Principal Accountabilities: In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive the design and development of digital product capabilities with a focus on MarTech Platforms and Website and data platforms.   

  • Thoroughly understand guest and business user’s needs and anticipate user demands in order to design and develop engaging digital products for Canada based on centrally-built core products from the Global Technology team.  

  • Lead the discussions with digital marketing, CRM Ops team, data teams and partner agencies to ensure there is alignment and clear understanding of product requirements and use cases. 

  • Manage and maintain a balanced product roadmap across multiple business and functional team.  

  • Generate product insights based on identified feature requests, pain points, and overall software strategy. 

  • Clearly articulate product decisions to users, the product team, internal stakeholders, and engineers. 

  • Manage project planning, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings. 

  • Work in sync with your Global peers (US, AU, UK, DE, FR) and the global Technology team to drive and develop local strategy.  

  • Prioritize digital product initiatives and transform product requirements into best-in-class digital products that deliver "everyday convenience and fun" to our guests.  

  • Understand and represent Canadian market needs and priorities to Global teams as part of planning and development of new features and defect resolution

  • Work with Global colleagues and cross functional team members at McDonald's Canada to coordinate and align digital product execution and delivery.  

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of product management experience with 1-3 years of experience in marketing technology (MarTech)

  • Technical skills: experience working with Braze, Adobe ACS or Salesforce with demonstrated skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Adobe AEM experience considered an asset

  • Ownership: organized with excellent multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work within tight deadlines while still maintaining a high level of accuracy

  • Collaborative communication skills: excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interface with corporate staff, restaurant management teams, and internal partners. Bilingual in English and French (written and oral communication skills) an asset

  • Innovative problem-solving skills: critical thinker and ability to escalate when assistance is needed in a timely manner

  • Agility: Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment
