Job Description:
Could you be our next Commercial Insights Analyst?
As the Commercial Insights Analyst, you will partner with stakeholders to generate insights and analysis that supports sound commercial outcomes for the business. You will support influencing, educating, and reporting on profitability in key areas of the business.
What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?
Supporting the execution of the Pricing strategy including Price rounds and Promotional pricing
Supporting the preparation of key information for the Licensee committee meetings
Providing business and commercial insights with recommendations to inform and influence decision making across the business
Engaging subject matter experts to maintain accurate GP, licensee cashflow and delivery projections, identifying and communicating key insights
Implementing strong processes and efficiencies for the Pricing execution including a Governance document to support the broader business Pricing Strategy and minimise any risk to the Brand
Where required, providing advice to and/or executing change management communications on both new and existing platforms
Qualifications:
Your keys to success:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent practical experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
A clear and confident communicator, both written and verbally
Ability to build relationships and influence various stakeholder groups
Ability to articulate financial acumen in language suitable to the audience
Strong financial knowledge for the purpose of utilising data to creating financial modelling and reporting to identify business trends/risks
Desirable (but not essential):
Completed or working towards post graduate study (CA/CPA/Masters)
Experience in Power BI and/or Aginity systems
Experience providing insights to a retail organisation
