The Training Manager is an integral part of the RBG’s Commitment to the learning & development of all our team members. This person will be responsible for the implementation and assessment of field based learning and development for salaried and hourly team members.
Support the field with Learning & Development:
Help Area Supervisors facilitate leadership training of external talent & development of high potential talent
Train and support Area Supervisors to facilitate national restaurant standards / new field initiatives / classes
Evaluate training performance for each restaurant against standards & take action through partnership with Area Supervisor when necessary
Perform Certified Training Restaurant visits as needed to ensure quality training environments
Facilitation of Learning Content:
Partner with Area Supervisors and General Store Managers to determine training teams and needs
Hold Train the Trainer classes for GM and Certified Training Restaurant trainers
Validate training program is being executed and delivering desired results
Validate trainer performance against standards and coaching expectations
Download feedback from the field around training efficacy and execution & determine roadblocks or additional training as needed
Facilitate online classes for field leadership as required.
Minimum of 3 years hands-on leadership of a fast-casual or full service restaurant
Minimum of 2 years of non-classroom training facilitation (such as running a training store, on the job training, etc·
At least 1 year of administrative duties that included: following up & responding to email, attending conference calls, basic us of word/excel, Zoom
Prior experience facilitating classroom/online training, following a facilitator guide
Prior McDonald’s experience is a plus
High personal standards
Highly developed communication skills·
Organized and detail oriented
Ability to coach and provide feedback to different personality types in order to get results
Deep understanding of restaurant operations
Experience in training and performance evaluation
