DEPARTMENT LEADERS Department leaders can have numerous responsibilities, such as:  Kitchen – makes sure the restaurant delivers great quality food to our customers and fast. Kitchen leaders ensure our food is always safe, that food cost is controlled and that the team is trained on new items. Speed, Quality and Accuracy are key measurements for success.  People – hires, trains and schedules team members to meet restaurant sales and profit goals. Labor hours and team training are key measures of success.  Guest Experience – ensures the team delivers a superior customer experience and makes sure the team delivers sales and promotions in a timely and accurate way. Customer feedback, promotional item sales are key measurements of success.

Each leader works together as a team to set the tone for the entire restaurant! We want leaders that are committed to an experience, not just a job. Our ideal person, cares and role models positive impactful behavior to our customers and team. Department leaders ensure the team is meeting McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next other managers and the team to help prepare him/her to run great shifts.


@ Minimum *High school diploma/GED *Excellent time management skills *Ability to work on your feet for most of your shift *Strong mechanical and technical ability * Can perform administrative functions using technology and other in-store resources * Dependable * Supervisory or management experience * Fantastic attitude * Customer orientation

Preferred - Exposure and experience with McDonald's practices and standards - 2+ years of experience managing a fast paced restaurant environment
