Job Description

The Role

The successful Training Consultant will change individual’s behaviour to positively impact on business results by consulting in training and development, system checks and operational standards. Additionally, a Training Consultant will conduct training that empowers and motivates whilst building competencies to improve individual performance and overall contribution to restaurant results.

What is the purpose of this role?

  • Conducting Management Training classes both virtually and face-to-face which inspires managers to achieve high performance results

  • Adhere to processes and procedures to ensure compliance with Australian Qualifications Training Framework (AQTF) standards and applicable legislation

  • Assess MDP’s in accordance with AQTF standards

  • Coaching others on how to measure and improve results, how to identify the root cause of problems and how to create actions to solve these problems

  • Communicates with key stakeholders regarding the success of opportunities for people development within a restaurant and/or organisations

  • Actively builds and maintains relationships with Owner/Operators, Operations Managers, Consultants and Restaurant Managers

  • Utilises strong relationships to encourage the transfer of knowledge, optimise return on investment and improve restaurant results

  • Be an operations expert and consultant on McDonald’s operating standards, management tools and training systems, to maximise QSC&V

  • Actively seeks to identify and apply the most effective employee development approaches

  • Understand and implement (where appropriate) McDonald’s RTO policies and procedures to ensure quality training and assessment consistent with the scope of registration and scale of operations

  • Project work as allocated

  • A clear and confident communicator both verbally and written

  • Confident in conducting presentations and able to do so in an engaging way

  • Customer focused at all times

  • Well organised and able to work to tight deadlines

  • Enthusiastic and able to bring a positive attitude

  • Passionate in sharing skills and experience to optimise learning outcomes

  • Able to work with minimal supervision

  • Competent in demonstrating leaderships expectations

  • Self-motivated and proactive in own development, especially in relation to maintaining current knowledge on all operational standards and procedures to maximise business results

  • Comfortable in providing constructive feedback

  • Able to identify root causes to problems and adopt an inclusive manner to identify resolutions

  • Ethical and responsible, understands and adheres to McDonald’s Standards of Business Conduct always
