Job Description:

This opportunity is part of the Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations team (GTIO), where our mission is to deliver modern and relevant technology that supports the way McDonald’s works. We provide outstanding foundational technology products and services including Global Networking, Cloud, End User Computing, and IT Service Management. It’s our goal to always provide an engaging, relevant, and simple experience for our customers.

The Technical Product Analyst, End User Infrastructure & Operations, collaborates with the GTIO Senior Manager. This role will be responsible for developing relationships with our customers and partners to understand their needs, assist with end user communications, change management, and adoption planning. This individual supports internal team governance to ensure team priorities align with the overall team strategy. This role will be instrumental in implementing the team vision of locally relevant and globally consistent end-user infrastructure platforms, services, and capabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology and change management specialist to help craft the transformation of infrastructure and operations products and services for the entire McDonald's environment.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Participate in forums to ensure timely two-way communication between the End User Infrastructure & Operations (EUIO) team and markets, business units, and other multi-functional teams. Identify and address opportunities to improve communication.

  • Develop deep understanding of all aspects of the EUIO platforms and capabilities offering, including global standards, prerequisites, and limitations for adoption.

  • Own and improve the EUIO team’s internal and external communication and organisational change processes.

  • Collaborate with other product teams, technical architects, developers, and tech leads to understand the technology roadmap for modernization.

  • Deliver communication materials as needed including videos, slide deck presentations, internal social posts, digital signage, and e-newsletter articles.

  • Understand McDonald’s current support landscape of tools, processes, standards, automation, monitoring, hardware, and more.

  • Develop and implement the EUIO team’s change management strategy, including drafting, planning, and posting content regularly.

  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with multiple diverse collaborators across the company, including members of executive leadership.

  • Develop content and messaging that supports new and existing platforms and software that impact internal end-users.

  • Provide critical communication planning and execution for the EUIO tea

Qualifications:

Understand McDonald’s current support landscape of tools, processes, standards, automation, monitoring, hardware, and more.

· Superb communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in easy-to-understand business-friendly language.

· Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

· Hands-on experience developing communication materials, social posts, digital signage, and newsletter articles.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

· Passion for emerging technology and real-world applications.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Sharepoint, and PowerPoint.

· Experience with Jira and Poppulo.

Preferred Qualifications

· At least 3-4 years of experience in change management and communications initiatives, covering operations, IT, and product development areas.

· Significant experience in translating technology updates to digestible communications for end users

Preferred Experience

· 6+ years of change management / technical business analyst experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years relevant experience and a Master’s degree.

· Experience defining user experience needs, drafting communications, and newsletters

· At least 3+ years of experience working with end user support tools

· At least 3+ years of experience leading technology communications initiatives

· Demonstrated experience in change management processes
