This position is an advisor and strategic partner to Senior Director, making recommendations (grounded in measurement and current system needs/sentiment) regarding what should be communicated to the US system, when and how. Manager of key stakeholder relationships and internal communications processes and protocols.

BA/BS degree required
10+ years of internal communications experience in large, complex organization
5+ years of experience in internal communications measurement
5+ years of experience in the development of internal communications processes, protocols, which includes but is not limited to coordinating and consolidating information flows across a complex organizations
5+ years of experience in orchestrating multiple stakeholders and advising clients on communications processes and how something will get communicated within an organization
5+ years of experience utilizing a wide variety of communication channels, including delivering content through digital channels
Trained and seasoned . Educational experience in related field (Master’s degree preferred) and experience in a complex organization within a related industry. Understands the role of communication in driving employee alignment and engagement, in shaping culture and in driving the business. Well-versed in the latest communications trends including the importance of strategic audience segmentation, leveraging specific channels and multi-media to reach targeted audiences with appropriate messages and applying brand, voice, and style elements when producing pieces.
A team player and individual contributor . Able to coordinate cross-team/cross-functionally to develop solutions. Also a strong self-starter, able to execute complex plans on their own.
Experienced multi-tasker . Ability to manage several projects within a finite timeline. Flexible. Nimble. Experience rapidly shifting gears to accommodate changes and incorporate new information with minimal disruption.
Relationship-obsessed . Understands the importance of developing relationships with key stakeholders, including experience working with all levels of management and staff.
Influencer status . Experience working with global, multi-year communication initiatives. Strong business acumen and a good understanding of business strategy with an ability to lead and influence outcomes through communications.
A strong foundation . Detail-oriented. Excellent writing skills. Strong presentation, facilitation and organization/project management skills. Practiced in communicating across media (including developing video concepts and working with creative/design teams) to produce and distribute content.
Build relationships . Establish relationships across the system to uncover on what needs to be communicated, when and how.
Make smart recommendations . Maintain pulse of qualitative and quantitative measurement of US internal communications and how that information impacts communications channels (types and use) and tactical communications (tone, frequency, etc.)
Be innovative . Drive evolution (and possibly creation) of channels and communications tactics to better meet the needs of the system.
Serve as a trusted advisor . Using information from relationships and data, serve as advisor to Senior Director of the communications needs to the US system
Drive the business through communications . Partner with members of US System Communications to drive business results through effectively coordinating (and as appropriate, create) and distributing the right communications, at the right time, via the right channels
Be nimble . As necessary, support revision of communications processes and protocols, develop orchestration plans, serve as gatekeeper of information flow, and support coordination and consolidation of communication to the system.
