We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our Planning & Analysis team and play a lead role in developing insights that influence decisions to drive business growth. You'll gain exposure to the most senior leaders across the company and will have direct line of site into key elements of the business strategy, their financial impact & expected returns. This position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Global FP&A and is located in our new state of the art headquarters in the West Loop of Chicago.

•Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or CPA preferred
•5+ years of related financial experience
•Strong organizational skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities
•Ability to operate independently and effectively in a team-based environment
•Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with ability to succinctly interpret data for executives and frame business issues in a straightforward manner
•Strong internal motivation, intellectual curiosity, logical thinking and ability to identify and leverage best practices
•Outstanding interpersonal and communication/presentation skills
•Demonstrated success influencing diverse customers or stakeholders and leading teams in cross-functional settings
•Strong team building/managerial experience is preferred
•Advanced in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
•Lead the annual financial planning process for all McDonald’s markets working collaboratively across various stakeholders to provide clarity on the timeline, key deliverables and expectations. Translate annual plan data into meaningful reports and insights helping McDonald’s management understand the business context behind the numbers.
•Lead the annual capital allocation process determining where and how much capital we invest across markets to support new store development, re-investment in existing stores, and other strategic priorities.
•Build and maintain a 3 -5 year strategic financial plan clarifying projected top-line and bottom line growth estimates, performance versus key performance indicators including EPS growth, and identify areas of risk or opportunities discussed with Sr. Management.
•Based on the long-term plan, develop relevant scenarios reflecting potential changes to the business impacting various areas including sales growth, margin changes, G&A expense, changes in tax rate and share buybacks.
•Partner with Treasury department to model out McDonald's cash management strategy including Capital requirements, dividend and share buy back recommendations.
•Board and financial analyst communication. Develop the Long -range Plan storyline and key content for the CFO's communication with Board of Directors, financial analyst community and major events (e.g. company all-hands).
