Job Description:

McDonald’s is on an exciting journey to transform our enterprise data, analytics, and AI function and turn our data into a winning advantage for the system. We are seeking a Technology Core team member to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our technology stakeholders and the data, analytics, and AI teams. You will serve as a liaison, representing the voice of the technology as we build the roadmap for investment and deployment of new data, analytics, and AI capabilities. This individual will leverage technical expertise and communication skills to drive alignment on the EDAA use case portfolio, timeline, and enablement strategy across McDonald’s market and functional stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides technical expertise and act as the voice of technology within the market enablement workstream to ensure the needs of the technology function are being recognized throughout each step of the process

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across global technology to understand needs and opportunities to implement new capabilities and ways of working

  • Serve as the one of the primary points of contact for market DAA technology teams, communicating any concerns and ensuring the success for the market enablement strategy

  • Supports technical market enablement planning activities and engagement with market stakeholders to understand current technology stacks and integration of technical requirements into planning activities

  • Help to craft the future vision for McDonald’s data products and platforms across markets, functions, and global technology

  • Utilize experience with and understanding of McD technology processes, systems, and practices to advise and shape the future enterprise DAA technology hub

  • Creation of team to define and build the future state Enterprise Data, Analytics, and AI organization and managing delivery of the use cases and value committed to in the DAA business case.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree IT, Computer Science, Business or related discipline required; Master’s preferred

  • Data and AI Experience: 5+ years experience in data, analytics, business intelligence, data management, or related fields.

  • Leadership Skills: 2+ years in a management role with demonstrated experience leading technical teams to deliver data, analytics, and AI capabilities

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of technical concepts like information architecture, data engineering, and development methodologies.

  • Technology Enablement Experience: 2+ years experience in leading or supporting enablement and integration activities for technologies, services, or IT initiatives.

  • Cross-functional Experience: Experience working in cross-functional, global teams and managing complex projects or programs.

  • Excellent communication skills:  Strong communications skills and the ability to translate complex ideas to various global stakeholders
